Read the text, then answer: « A train trip to El Jem »
Last spring, Malek’s class travelled from Tunis to El Jem. El Jem is a small town in the east of Tunisia, south of Sousse. The pupils went by train. Malek prefers travelling by train, because he can walk in it and look at the olive trees from the window.
In El Jem, they visited the amphitheatre. It is a very old monument: the Romans built it about 1,800 years ago. It is one of the biggest amphitheatres in the world.
Their teacher, Mrs Amel, said, “Long ago, thousands of people came here to watch shows.” The children climbed the old stairs and took a lot of photos. Malek thought the amphitheatre was taller than his school!
In the evening, they took the train back to Tunis. Now Malek wants to visit Dougga. It is an old Roman town in the north-west of Tunisia.

A model text to compare with (after writing mine)
Last summer, my family and I went to Tozeur. Tozeur is a town in the south-west of Tunisia. We travelled by car, but I prefer to travel by train because it is faster. In Tozeur, we visited the old town and walked between the palm trees. The houses are made of yellow bricks. It was hotter than in Tunis! We ate dates and took many photos. Next year, I would like to visit Dougga.
One good example among many: compare, don’t copy.
